We encourage girls to make their voices heard and highlight women who act as role models for others. With your gift, we maintain shelters where girls who have escaped the tradition of female genital mutilation can continue to go to school and live in safety. You also support the establishment of women’s groups. In the groups, women learn financial skills and receive training on starting a business. Thanks to education, they earn their own money.
