Reolink TrackMix is a battery-powered surveillance camera designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Equipped with two image sensors, the camera features Dual Tracking for object tracking. It includes intelligent motion detection, two-way audio, a memory card slot, and LED light.

The Reolink TrackMix surveillance camera operates on a battery and requires only a wireless Wi-Fi network (2.4/5 GHz) to function. By default, the camera is used with the built-in battery/power, but it can also be powered indoors with a separately purchased power source (power adapter not included). Additionally, an optionally purchased solar panel can eliminate the need for charging during the summer months. The camera’s battery life on a single charge averages 1-4 weeks, depending on settings, usage, and temperature. The camera features infrared night vision, reaching approximately 30 meters under optimal conditions. In addition to traditional night vision, the camera also includes an LED light, providing color imaging in low light or darkness.

The Reolink TrackMix camera’s special feature is its two image sensors (wide-angle and telephoto) and Dual Tracking feature with hybrid zoom. The wide-angle sensor has a 2K 2560 x 1440 resolution, a 2.8 mm focal length, and an F/1.6 aperture. The telephoto sensor, on the other hand, has Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, an 8.0 mm focal length, and an F/1.6 aperture. When motion is detected, the TrackMix camera can automatically track the object thanks to its motorized body. Both sensors appear as separate image sources, allowing the user to choose which image to view. If desired, the images can be combined, showing the tracked object simultaneously in both zoomed-in and wide-angle views.

With intelligent motion detection, the camera can differentiate between people and vehicles in the image. Motion alerts from the camera take on a new meaning when motion detection is set to respond only to vehicles and individuals. The camera also includes a memory card slot (max. 128 GB, card sold separately) and supports interval videos (time-lapse). The camera can be set to capture photos at specified intervals, and the photo series automatically forms a video. Whether tracking the progress of a construction project, the spring awakening of plants, monitoring traffic flow, or capturing the dawn, the applications are endless!

The camera is operated and managed through the user-friendly Reolink app, available for both Android and iOS devices. The app’s language can be set to Finnish.

Reolink Cloud Service:

Reolink launched cloud storage for selected Reolink camera models in late April 2022. Users can choose from Basic Plan, Standard Plan, and Premier Plan storage options. Basic Plan can be activated for one Reolink camera, and the service is currently free. In Basic Plan, 7 days of recording history (max. 1 GB) are stored in the cloud. Standard and Premier plans are paid services offering longer recording history, support for multiple cameras, more storage space, and better alarm notifications (depending on the camera).

Note: Camera battery life is significantly affected by ambient temperature, wireless network strength, camera usage, and the number of motion detections.
