The MSR Guardian is one of the world’s most advanced portable water purifiers. It purifies water anywhere without the need for a power source or chemicals. The purifier filters out pathogens and viruses from dirty water. Tested according to the U.S. military’s NSF protocol P248 standard. Maintenance is easy because the purifier cleans itself. With the purifier, you can purify 10,000 liters of water. It is also suitable for winter conditions, though you should avoid letting the device freeze.

• The water purifier is intended for purifying freshwater. Do not overtighten the filter part’s thread. Overtightening may cause the gasket to shift out of place. If the gasket leaks, slightly unscrew the filter.

The product does not come with a bottle for collecting clean water. The Guardian purifier is compatible with most wide-mouth bottles designed for outdoor use, such as Camelbak and Nalgene.
