DIAL MADE FROM FINNISH BIRCH WOOD

The dial of this lovely unisex model is made from valuable birch wood grown in Finland. Birch wood is a rare, naturally growing wood species in Scandinavia, recognizable by its unique appearance. The annual rings ripple nicely on the light surface, and the bark inside the tree completes the pattern with beautiful brown stripes and spots. We are proud to say that every Aava watch is unique – just like each of us.

Aava is the result of a long and careful design process. The restrained design sought a natural color scheme and a bit of contrast. The chocolate brown of walnut wood and the light colors of curly birch are naturally found in forests.

In addition to the dial and bracelet, the background that rests against the wrist is made of wood, which is a huge advantage when using the watch, as the wood feels soft and light on the skin. We chose first-class materials for our stunning design. Walnut wood is a valued and durable wood material that is easy to work with, and in addition, it has a beautiful pattern – so it fits the watch perfectly. Aava is equipped with a high-quality Swiss Ronda 763 quartz movement, which is very accurate. The first pieces of the bracelet are made of metal, so Aava is highly durable for everyday use.
