The Focus Columbus 20×50 is a monocular, a telescope used to focus on distant objects through multiple lenses or prisms; a monocular using prisms is a lightweight telescope.

The 20×50 monocular is handy when there is a need to see far across the sea or a lake. In its compact form, it is only 14.5 cm long, and when fully extended, it reaches a length of 37 cm. Focus adjustment is achieved by moving the telescope back and forth.
