Exceptional Clarity with 2K QHD Resolution

The Tapo C120 offers sharp, detailed images with a 2K QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440. Its advanced Starlight image sensor and built-in LED lights enable full-color night vision even in low light or complete darkness. It also supports monochrome IR night vision with dual IR LEDs. Depending on the camera’s placement, you can choose between visible (850 nm) and invisible (940 nm) IR light. The visible 850 nm IR is ideal for outdoor use to deter intruders and has a longer range, while the invisible 940 nm IR is better suited for indoor use, as it won’t disturb sleep.

Smart AI Detection and Notifications

The Tapo C120 features AI-powered detection that can identify people, vehicles, pets, and unusual loud noises such as a crying baby. When movement or sound is detected, the camera sends an alert and begins recording. You can also set up custom privacy zones: if motion is detected in these zones, the camera will notify you immediately.

Flexible Storage Options

The camera supports local storage via a microSD card (up to 512 GB, card not included), and recordings triggered by AI detection can be saved locally. Additionally, the camera is compatible with the optional paid Tapo Care cloud service.
