Tampere is a well-known sauna city. Tampere’s saunas are located in the most stunning locations, such as the Saunaravintola Kuuma relaxation oasis on the shores of fresh Lake Pyhäjärvi. Our specialty is a smoke sauna near the center of Tampere, which you won’t get to experience everywhere.

Saunaravintola Kuuma is located at the parade ground of Tampere, Laukontori. You can experience the hottest sauna experiences and stunning views in the city in a wood-fired sauna or a modern smoke sauna. Whether you are a sauna enthusiast or enjoy saunas randomly depending on your mood, our saunas are just for you.

Kuuma saunas and services

Kuuma has three public mixed saunas, which are always waiting for sauna guests according to our opening hours. Upon arrival, you can buy a sauna bracelet at the restaurant cashier, go through the shoe rack to the changing rooms and from there to the public washrooms, where you can move around in your swimsuit or towel. If you left your personal belongings at home, towels are available on site and we rent swimsuits and sauna slippers for 3 €/each.

You can cool off on the sauna terrace and take a dip in the peaceful waters of Ratina all year round. You can buy sauna drinks from the terrace hatch and enjoy them while admiring the scenery, the saunas are also a drinking area. Please note that our kitchen is also happy to serve sauna guests and after the sauna you can enjoy a varied lunch or a delicious dinner in the stunning scenery.
