Description

The RuuviTag, designed and manufactured in Finland, is a compact, weather-resistant open-source Bluetooth sensor. This sensor measures and transmits data on temperature, humidity, air pressure, movement, and battery voltage every 2.5 seconds, regardless of whether the app is actively receiving it. All smartphones within Bluetooth range can receive this information.

RuuviTag does not require a hub or gateway—only a compatible Android or iOS device and the free Ruuvi Station mobile app, available from app stores. Setting up the sensor takes just a few minutes, and data collection can start immediately. RuuviTag can be used in almost any environment, limited only by your imagination. Ideal use cases include homes, apartments, cottages, ceiling spaces, and cold storage rooms. You can use an almost unlimited number of RuuviTags, and the app makes it easy to select the data from the desired sensor.

The Ruuvi Station mobile app displays real-time data from nearby sensors added to it. Easily track temperature or humidity trends and set alerts and notifications. Place a RuuviTag in a sauna, and receive an alert when the desired temperature is reached. The app can also send notifications if the sensor goes out of range.

RuuviTag also functions as a datalogger, continuously recording temperature, humidity, and pressure data from the last 10 days, with a five-minute recording interval. The internal history can be imported into the app when the phone is within Bluetooth range.

RuuviTag is compatible with Ruuvi Gateway, which allows you to access your sensors from anywhere.
