Sometimes, design begins with a paddle. The Lohkare Vase takes its form from a glacial boulder that designer Lasse Kovanen occasionally encounters in the Baltic Sea archipelago. The exact location of the boulder remains a secret—its discovery is left as a joy for the finder.
