Manufactured in Finland, the Fiskars Norden N12 Splitting Axe combines durability, ideal weight distribution, advanced blade geometry, and an ultra-sharp edge to deliver top performance. The axe was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Best of the Best design award in 2019. Inspired by Nordic axe-making traditions, the Norden N12 is ideal for splitting small logs up to 20 cm in diameter.

The axe has a 50 cm handle, perfect for two-handed use. Made from premium hickory, the handle offers a natural feel and appearance. It is virtually unbreakable thanks to the innovative FiberComp™ overstrike protection. The blade is made of high-quality carbon steel with a friction-reducing coating that prevents it from sticking and protects against rust and dirt. The precision-ground blade stays sharp for a long time.

The package also includes the Fiskars Axe and Knife Sharpener. The ceramic sharpening stone features clearly marked slots for both axes and knives. Graphics on the side of the sharpener guide you to the correct sharpening angle. The knife sharpener is suitable for both left- and right-handed users. A silicone ring on the base keeps it stable during use. Suitable for thicker blades as well as large kitchen knives and cleavers. Easy to disassemble and clean, dishwasher safe. Designed in Finland.
