What is OxyPro Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or HBOT, has been studied extensively, and since 1950, the treatment has been used for more than just decompression sickness.

HBOT is used to treat, for example, chronic stress and depression.

We use mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or mHBOT. The device is not medical and is suitable for many people.

Breathing oxygen-rich air under mild pressure has been found to have positive effects on recovery and well-being. The body’s resistance improves, the treatments reduce stress, relax the body, increase energy and alertness, and relieve headaches and muscle pain. Oxygen therapy also has positive anti-aging effects.

Breathing enriched oxygen increases the oxygen saturation level in the blood, allowing the brain to receive more oxygen. This also means more alert brain function!

During the treatment, the oxygen level in the chamber is increased to 50 percent and the pressure is increased to 53 kilopascals (1.53ATA), which is equivalent to a depth of about 6 meters underwater.

At this increased pressure, all cells in the body are under slight compression, which, together with the increased oxygen, enhances their ability to remove toxins and other harmful substances.

As the oxygen content of the tissues increases, the body is better able to resist various infections and the immune system is strengthened.

mHBOT treatment also improves the ability of white blood cells to find and destroy “attacking cells” against the body.
