The steam is evenly distributed, and the hot soleplate indicator warns you when the iron is hot. Thanks to the perfectly balanced combination of temperature, steam, and pressure, you can enjoy excellent ironing results. With rapid heat-up and even steam distribution, the iron is ready to remove wrinkles in just 30 seconds.

The GLISSIUM 175 soleplate is scratch-resistant, features multiple holes for even steam distribution, and glides smoothly over fabric. You’ll know when it’s safe to store the iron. A temperature sensor at the tip of the iron detects when the soleplate is hot. The risk of water stains on clothes is minimized. The drip-stop system, with a built-in double safety mechanism, prevents water from entering the steam chamber when the temperature is too low. It takes care of your iron as well as your clothes by preventing harmful limescale build-up. With the FlushClean descaling function, limescale is easily removed by rinsing the system with water.
