Thanks to the rope, the chair does not swing even on an uneven surface and the weight is evenly distributed. Due to these features, the Ekotuoli offers a unique sitting experience. This Ekotuoli is treated with greige-toned wood oil, through which the natural texture of tar elm can be heard.
The beautifully reddish and globular tar alder is a relatively soft wood. When oiled, it is suitable for both inside and outside. The material also tolerates high temperatures, for example on glazed balconies or sunny terraces. We recommend 1-2 treatments per season.
The chair can be renewed over the years by changing the string or a single slat, which means that the Ekotuoli will have a long life. The comfort of use is increased by the separately sold linen neck pillow.
The Tarvaleppäinen Ekotuoli is also suitable for a modern sauna instead of benches.
