SEY Suomen Eläinsuojelu is the largest animal welfare organization and expert association in Finland. We help animals in distress and vulnerable situations — regardless of species — every day of the year, all across the country.

SEY has around 40 member associations nationwide and over a thousand volunteers who care for and rehabilitate homeless, orphaned, and injured animals, find them new homes, and release wild animals back into nature. Every year, we save thousands of animals from suffering and misfortune, and we work to promote better treatment of animals.

SEY’s work is funded by donations, which enable us to help animals, prevent animal welfare problems, support the local work of our member associations, and advocate for improved attitudes and legislation for the wellbeing of animals.
