The Imprint Crossbody Unikko shoulder bag is made from traceable Scandinavian leather. The Unikko flower on the front is formed lace-like by small perforations. The bag features a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, zipper closure, and one inner pocket. The lining is made from Unikko-patterned cotton.

Imprint bags are crafted in Abruzzo, Italy, with hand-finished details. The lining is made of 50% recycled cotton, printed at Marimekko’s own textile printing house in Herttoniemi, Helsinki. Every detail of the Imprint series—from design to material sourcing and production—is the result of careful consideration.

We are especially proud of the important advancement in leather manufacturing: traceability. Marimekko only approves leather for its products that is a byproduct of the food industry, and every leather hide used in Imprint bags can be traced back to an individual farm located in Scandinavia.

Part of the beauty of Imprint bags is the natural feel of the leather, thanks to a lighter surface treatment. Small irregularities in the leather’s surface and color are characteristic features that make each product unique.
