Beurer bright light devices are recommended to be used daily during the darkest season. Even 30–60 minutes of daily bright light therapy can help with coping and relieve symptoms of nighttime depression. Bright light therapy is more effective the earlier in the morning it is started. For this reason, bright light therapy is started soon after waking up, in practice usually between 6 and 10 a.m. However, due to differences in circadian rhythms, bright light therapy at other times of the day can also be beneficial. You can use the bright light device as often as you like, but from a treatment perspective, the best results are achieved when the device is used daily for at least two hours.
